Essential Facts Regarding the Injury Investigation of the Sunset Review Concerning the Antidumping Duty Order on Carbon Steel Plate from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Ukraine
1. Pursuant to the public notice published on June 10, 2022 by the International Trade Commission of the Ministry of Economic Affairs regarding the hearing. 2. Information regarding the injury investigation of the sunset review (1) Product description Carbon steel plate, including, without limitation, flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, hot-rolled, or certain other alloy steel, not in coils, not clad, plated or coated, of a thickness of 6mm or more. For details, please see the announcement published on August 20, 2021 by the Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance (MOF). (2) Reference CCC Codes 72085110100, 72085110208, 72085110306, 72085120000, 72085130008, 72085140006, 72085210207, 72085220205, 72085230203, 72089010005, 72111410101, 72111410209, 72111410307, 72111420207, 72111430205, 72111440203 (the aforementioned 16 CCC codes are exclusive for carbon steel plate), 72089021002, 72089030001, 72089040009, 72254000908 and 72269100905 (the aforementioned 5 CCC codes are non-exclusive ones) of the Customs Import Tariff and Import and Export Commodity Classification of the Republic of China. (3) Domestic like product Same as the subject product       (4) Domestic industry China Steel Corporation, Dragon Steel Corporation. (5) Taiwan imports of Carbon Steel Plate, in absolute terms and relative terms (shown in Table I of the attached file). (6) Weighted-average prices of domestic and imported Carbon Steel Plate (shown in Table II of the attached file). (7) Summary data on the domestic industry of Carbon Steel Plate (shown in Table III of the attached file). (8) Summary data on carbon steel plate industry in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Ukraine (shown in Table IV and Table IV-1 of the attached file). 3.This information may be revised later based on evidence and information submitted by the interested parties. 4.The injury determination will be made by simple majority at a meeting attended by at least half of all the Commissioners. The Commission consists of a chairperson (who is the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs), four official Commissioners (who are Deputy/Vice Ministers of relevant government departments), and eight Commissioners who are well-versed and experienced in industry, economics, trade, finance, tax or law. 5.The Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Imposition of Countervailing and Anti-Dumping Duties and information about the injury investigation can be accessed respectively on the following websites:

ITC to Conduct a Hearing of the Sunset Review Concerning the Antidumping Duty Order on Carbon Steel Plate from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Ukraine
In order to proceed with the injury investigation of the sunset review concerning the antidumping duty order on carbon steel plate from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Ukraine, the International Trade Commission (ITC) will conduct a hearing to provide an opportunity for face-to-face communication between representatives of domestic producers, foreign producers and exporters, importers, and other interested parties. The hearing will be held on July 8, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at room 201BC of the Taipei International Convention Center, which is located at 1 Hsin-Yi Road, Sec. 5, Taipei, Taiwan(R.O.C.) Those who wish to attend the hearing are encouraged to register with the ITC through the ITC's website www.moeaitc.gov.tw, or by fax or email before July 6, 2022. Persons signed up for presenting their views are also invited to attend the pre-hearing meeting, which will be held at 1:40 p.m. prior to the hearing, in order to arrange the sequence and time allocation of the presentations in the first session of the hearing. In order to proceed with the injury investigation of five-year (sunset) review concerning the antidumping duty order on certain flat-rolled steel products, plated or coated with zinc or zinc-alloys from China and Korea, the International Trade Commission (ITC) will conduct a hearing to provide an opportunity for face-to-face communication between representatives of domestic producers, foreign producers and exporters, importers, and other interested parties. Due to the necessity for processing investigation information, the International Trade Commission (ITC), in compliance with Articles 12 and 18 of the Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Imposition of Countervailing and Antidumping Duties, postpones until July 8, 2022 the preliminary determination of injury investigation concerning the antidumping case on Float Glass, in Sheets from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.  The original copy of the official notification in Chinese is enclosed.
